Survival Retreat
Step outside your comfort zone and experience what it would be like to go through a real survival situation but under expert instruction and guidance throughout the experience.
This is an introductory level course built for those simply wanting more knowledge safeguarding themselves.
You will spend 3 nights, 4 days practicing the basic skills needed to survive including shelter building, fire starting, water disinfection, food considerations, problem solving and adapting to changing conditions within this time frame.
You will have the opportunity to put those skills to use in the backcountry, gaining confidence, self-reliance, and practical knowledge you can carry into your own outdoor adventures.

wool blanket
boil pot
knife
ferro rod (spark stick)
extras gifts
*Pervious backpacking experience and a low to moderate level of physical fitness is highly recommended. Participants should be comfortable hiking at least 2 mile over varied mountain terrain while carrying their own gear.
